As a millennial, someone who lives on their own, works full time, and also goes to school.... I must admit that my kitchen has become somewhat of a foreign territory. Much like myself, I have noticed that all of my friends and cousins around my age typically don't cook as well. Unlike most, I actually grew up loving to cook in the kitchen with my mother every night. My question steams more from my lifestyle now. Living in the city and being a foodie practically go hand in hand today. Social media is one huge gateway to a foodies heart. Seeing all of the new food trends and restaurants that open daily would make anyone want to go out to eat rather than stay home and cook. The convenience and accessibility that apps like Seamless and GrubHub bring combined with the hustle and bustle of every day living make a perfect match for any New Yorker. Has that resulted in the culture of cooking changing today?
