F.B.I. Investigates Uber Software Used To Monitor Lyft Drivers

Uber is under investigation by the FBI to see if Uber was involved in hack scheme. "The investigation is focused on Uber's use of a special program internally called "Hell", said people with knowledge of the proceedings, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly." (Isaac and Rashbaum). Basically there are claims that Uber monitored drivers who worked for both companies and then Uber would use financial incentives to entice drivers to work for Uber more often instead of Lyft. This investigation has been going on for months now.
