the aftermath of physician assist suicide
Throughout the process of a life threatening disease patients tend to think about themselves and what they are going through. Most of life threatening disease can cause so much pain for a person, that makes them want a physician help them commit suicide. The patient is thinking about ending his or her life so that the pain can go away, not knowing that he or she can cause a much greater pain to his or her family when he or she decides to take their life away. Family members can suffer severely for their lost. according to Howard Brody in his paper with "Michigan Publish" he states that surviving family members of the victim tend to have more anger and regrets within themselves with this type of action than a relative dying cause of natural cause because they agreed with the victim to have a physician assist their family member's suicide.
