For my research paper, i would like to talk about the island of Puerto Rico after hurricane maria left it in complete devastation. This is an interesting topic to me because i got to experience this natural disaster in person, and witnessed how Puerto Rico's infrastructure was completely destroyed. This topic is very controversial, as many believe the president of the united states isn't doing enough to help the island, as opposed to Texas and Florida who received help right away after being hit by hurricanes of less magnitude.
